TAC SCM Controlled Server

The University of Minnesota's MinneTAC Research Group has released a patch for the SICS server that allows market conditions to be repeated across multiple games.

Here's the controlled server package. Included in the package are binary redistributions of the following:

  • The controlled server patch, to apply to the original SICS server, which is downloadable here,
  • A GUI to easily create seedsets to enter into the controlled server, and
  • A README file describing how to apply the patch and instructions for using the controlled server and its corresponding GUI.

To apply the patch, move it into the top-level scmserver directory of the original SICS server, and from this server directory, enter the following command:

patch -p1 < server-patch

These instructions are also provided in the included README.
